I love the pink flat iron. I am sure that it is a great product…but most of all it reminds me how important it is to help everyone who has been affected by this devastating illness.

Who doesn’t know someone affected with this disease… no one. It’s scary, and collaborations like this one are a big way to make headway into research and changing the statistics. I don’t have a flatiron, and as my daughters tell me, have unruly embarrassing curly hair, but as a 50+ mom have just never bought one. Now’s the time.

seems like a great product. I have many friends that use flat irons. What seems to be really great about this iron, made my Misikko are the accessories that come with it. Its great for traveling and has a nice tin case for storage.
Breast Cancer research has a very special meaning to me since my own mother died from brest cancer recently. Its great that Misikko made it in pink so that women can remember how important Breast Cancer research is not just in oct. but every month.

Eight years ago, I found a lump in my rt. breast that turned out to be cancer and I opted for a radical mastectomy. I am one of the lucky ones, I am still here to thank A Few Goody Gum Drops and Misikko for supporting Breast Cancer Awareness and for raising money for breast cancer research. Self exams and mammograms are so important. Ladies, please take care of yourselves and have a mammogram!

I lost my mother to breast cancer 3 days after my 17th birthday. It effected everyone in my family and so many people who worked with my mother and love her. I am 21 now and getting married next October. I do any volunteering I can to support breast cancer awearness and cure research. Everyone who knows me knows that it is a huge part of my life. I even have a pink sash on my dress for my Mom since she won't be at my wedding.
I would love this flat iron. I don't have the best paying job to buy one right now with all of the wedding expenses and work being slow. I'd even style my hair with it for the wedding since cost cutting eliminate a salon option. I would be so nice to do my hair with something nice that will in one more way remind me that my mom is there with my for my special day. Even if she can't help me with my hair she I want her presense felt in every way.
I miss her every day and life with out her has been so hard. I know she just wants me to be happy and help find a cure my supporting research.
