We are just launching now! Spring is our second season. We have been very diligent in setting up our production for the line so the quality of the bags is not compromised in any way and we are able to produce beautiful bags that have handwoven handles and custom hardware at an attainable price points.
2. What kinds of leathers or materials do you use? Do you exotic skins?
We us cow hide and amazing sof calf with sting ray and python.
3. Do your bags follow fashion trends?
My bags are classic silhouettes that combine beauty and functionality. I wouldn’t classify them as trendy.
4. You must be so excited your bags are debuting in Henri Bendel’s! How many different styles will they be carrying from your collection?
Having a trunk show at Bendel’s is a dream come true! We will be showing 6 different styles at the 4 day trunk show.
5. What is your most popular bag right now?
I would say the Mignonne Pouch everyone of all ages loves it. Or the oversized Cha Cha women are obsessed with large bags and the accross the body strap really give it a great functional feature as well. It really becomes a carryall.
6. What type of women use your bags? Fashion forward woman who appreciates quality not necessarily labels.
7. How excited do you get when you see someone using one of your bags?
There is no bigger compliment than seeing a stranger wearing your bag from across the street. You want to walk up to them and ask them how the like it and any comments they would have on it, but of course you don’t because they will be like “that girl is crazy.”
8. Are any celebrities known for carrying a specific bag in the line? Ciara has the Rojika saddle bag and model Sessilee Lopez and Rhianna have the Mignonne Pouch.
9. Are your bags made in the United States?
Our samples are made in the US but production is out of France
10. Do you eventually want to open your own boutique?Yes and I’d like to expand the brand into clothing and accessories as well.
If so, where would it be? When we open our first boutique I would like for it to be in NYC.
11. Do your bags have a special trademark?
The hardware was hand drawn and all custom made. The handles are our trade mark as they are all handwoven and the lining is our signature deep purple. All our bags feature a signature stingray.
12. Are your bags colorful?
Aside from black and taupe…our fall collection comes in eggplant, royal blue, navy and gray
13. What do you love most about designing handbags? I love seeing the ideas in my head come to fruition. Seeing our sketches come to life. It’s an incredible feeling walking down the street and noticing a complete stranger wearing one of our bags!
