Hard to believe but I had a PR firm emailing me last night at ten thirty PM and when I asked them (so nicely) to please stop they emailed me again! I wrote them back and asked them to stop emailing me late at night (this has gone on so many nights) and the head of this PR firm wrote me back asking…”Are you serious about emails late at night? Do you sleep with your computer”? I said it’s of no concern to you what I do with my blackberry, I just don’t want your emails late at night and now I don’t want them at all! (many of them about Kim Kardashian…who cares?) She then sent me another nonsensical PR email at 12 midnight.
I told her she was beginning to STALK me and was now harassing me. Finally they subsided and I safely ( I hope) unsubscribed myself from her list.
The point is as fashion bloggers we deal with many amazing PR firms, many of them unsolicited but so welcomed. They provide us with some very useful information, fashion updates and celeb sitings.I think when you ask a PR firm not to email you late at night they should respect your wishes and privacy. Everyone even fashion bloggers are entitled to have their peace and quite at night. I am not going to publish her name ( I really want, too) but if she continues to send me emails…….
