Dress Like a Beautiful Ninja From the Future:
This padded ivory jacket with a black trim and a high stand collar looks a bit like what might happen if you took an Eskimo and uploaded him into the virtual world of Tron. It’s simultaneously futuristic looking, very comfy, and whatever word might mean the opposite “bulky.” One can only image how many more whales a native Inuit could harpoon if he ditched his bulky garb for (a slightly warmer version of) this Moncler jacket.
Here are some key deets: It’s so much easier to move aroung in a short puffy jacket! The jacket features a thick textile lining, zipped welt pockets, elastic buckle belt, ribbed textile cuffs and an exposed two way zip closure.
It’s not often that a designer can effectively meld the “space age” aesthetic with the “comfy, cozy, I-am-a-luxury-a-traveler-at-an-Austrian-ski-resort” aesthetic. This jacket manages to do so. Maybe we can split it up this way? The padded ivory is the “Austrian ski resort” half of the aesthetic; whereas the black trim is the “I am a cool sexy chick from the future” aesthetic. Taken alone, that might be interesting. But taken together – much like chocolate and peanut butter – you get this delicious concoction that’s more than the yummy sum of its parts.
