I typically love Rick Owens! However this Veil-front wool and angora skully look like something right out of Spider-Man’s wardrobe. Although this ribbed black veiled cap was worn on the runway….we think it’s ridiculous and pricey at $270. Rick Owens is usually as fashion forward and edgy as I get. He’s a fashion favorite (right up there with Azzedine Alaia) among the very trendy. That being said….that’s NO reason to purchase something that’s effective (creepy) on the runway but is totally absurd in everyday life. If I saw a fellow fashionista in this black veiled cap I know I’d be gasping!!!! I’m sure you’d hear me utter WTF!!!!
Now that fall is here, is Owens hoping to start a new “caged” trend? I’m not loving that caged in feeling. What happens if you wear glasses? We love when a designer combines style and comfort.
