Not only do I have an appetite for candy but I have an “eye” for it, too! Actually, my daughter spotted this whimsical calorie-free candy inspired clutch in Bazaar Mag and emailed the pic to me. She thought one of us must-have it! I was raised on candy so the bag is screeeeeeeeaming my name. While I think it’s fabulous…it’s too trendy for me and could be out by the next season. If I’m going to spend $1800 plus tax, I want the bag to be wearable for seasons to come. The concept is oh-so “sweet” and so is the bold gradation of colors. If your blog is named after a candy like mine then you should have a candy-esque bag!!! Right???
Wrong!!! I’d be picking off those candy buttons in no time in hopes of snacking on them. I loved candy buttons when I was younger…still do but never loved eating the paper. This bag definitely makes a statement and would be fun to carry although it’s extremely pricey for an entertaining and trendy clutch. Now…if it had gumdrops all over it…that would be a consideration. Proenza Schouler’s bag is totally cool for fall 2013. If you can avoid picking off the buttons and the high price….go for it! It’s exciting to see Proenza do something totally different than the PS1 bag that is so over done in every color, size and shape. Click the link and check out some of their bags!
