Marc Jacobs is no stranger to the beauty industry – I’ve collected my share of samples for fragrances like Daisy, Lola, Dot, and beyond – but until now, the designer has yet to expand his “palette” to include color cosmetics. Set to launch exclusively at Sephora on August 9th, his first foray into makeup is gearing up to hit shelves, and I couldn’t be more excited! The 122-piece collection will be segmented into four sub-categories: Smart Complexion (foundation, concealers, etc), Blacquer (eyeliners and mascaras for the perfect smoky eye), Hi-Per Color (nail lacquers, blushes, lip glosses, and more), and Boy Tested, Girl Approved (lip balm, brow tamer, etc). With just about any and every product you could possibly wish for, there’s pretty much no bad news to share here – except if you’re a lover of neutral and nude makeup hues, because this debut collection is all about bold colors!
