Jenni Kayne’s D’Orsay flats are very cool and one of the most unusual looks I’ve seen recently. This particular style…the D’Orsay, elongates the foot giving it a slim sexy look. You can see how the pointed-toe leopard flat looks on my foot on instagram @afewgoodygumdrops. I’m sure you’ll agree…very cool. Not only do these shoes look great they are extremely comfortable. Often I wear shoes that “I had to have” and suffer in them.
I live in jeans and flats so for me these are perfect. Don’t get me wrong….I still love my Lanvin ballet flats and my Roger Vivier iconic pilgrim buckle flats but like everything else I’m growing tired of these styles. This collection has a far hipper look and I’m thrilled to introduce these flats again on AFGG. I took ten pairs of shoes away with me this vacation and have lived in my Jenni Kayne flats.
They’re still as pricey as Lanvin and Vivier but for me I needed a new “flat” direction. At this point I’m not bowled over by many of Kanye’s clothing which I think tends to err on the dowdy side although the spring collection is definitely headed in a funkier direction.
