Had to repost the article from yesterday, this time featuring the white Dr. Martens. The question is quickly becoming…the white or the black printed tattoo boots??? It’s definitely a hard choice. Personally, the white has a drop more pop….more traffic stopping! Whatever you’re wearing will look totally on trend with either color. Years ago everyone…kids and adults (mostly kids) had to have Dr. Martens affectionately known as Doc Martens. If you didn’t you were behind the eight ball…probably shouldn’t have even shown up at school.
I had burgundy Docs that I wore with rolled jeans and short skirts with tights. If you had Docs…you had it going on and you knew you were ultra-cool. (my son had little Docs) Fast forward…many years later and they’re just as cool as ever except now they come with trendy printed motifs.
I’m obsessing over the Docs with the tattoo patterns placed just-so on the boots…the dagger, the french bulldog, the tearful eye, the spider web, the burgundy doc…just to name a few. There’s something so nostalgic about bringing back your favorite boots from decades ago and wanting to buy their latest fashion-forward “statement” pair.
“Dr. Martens’s signature army boot was invented in the 1940s in Monaco by an injured German doctor. When he sold the style to an English shoemaker, the army boot became a symbol of the most influential youth movements in history: from punk to goth and from pop to the beat generation”.
Doc Martens 30MM Tattoo Printed Leather Boots will make any outfit look playful and totally hip. The Tattoo Printed Boots in white are just as funky as the black. The boots feature a 30MM rubber sole, signature back loop with the bright yellow script, iconic yellow stitching on the rubber sole, raw cut edges and are 100% Calfskin.
There’s so many things that evoke one’s childhood…for me Dr. Martens are on that list. If you’re craving a pair of well made funky boots click the links to indulge. Docs are known for their comfort, rugged style and durability. Of course the boots come in solid black and navy…but that’s so booooooooring!!!!
XOXO,
