We're Captivated by Givenchy's "Colors of Summer" Inspiration

It’s no secret Givenchy features whimsical designs every season no matter how scary some are. Remember the Rottweiler motif? That totally freaked me out. We’ve gone from Givenchy’s frightening Rottweiler to Givenchy’s cool Favelas 74 logo (named for Givenchy’s designer, Riccardo Tisci) to the sweet Bambi print and now to this season’s serene floral and butterfly motif. Loving this oh-so delicate, ethereal pattern. We all know how big butterflies and floral designs are for spring/summer 2015. It’s definitely a perfect motif for spring and summer. Even Mackenzie Childs has added butterflies to their bowls and platters. To quote ourselves from 2013 “Givenchy’s bags and totes are not only stunning with beautiful leathers, interiors and hardware….they’re constructed superbly“. Sporty, chic, “easy to-wear” bags.

I own the slip-on sneakers from last season (different print) and they’re beyond comfortable. All four bags (backpack, print coated canvas clutch, medium pandora magnolia antigona, the canvas magnolia tote ) inspired by nature’s beauty are stunning and can easily go from day to-night. Very easy to carry over one shoulder with its striking design.
