I know I’m supposed to be writing about spring clothes and accessories…but if you live in the Northeast (like I do) it’s impossible to do so. It’s freezing, and it’s snowing today again. Have no clue what’s up with all these dipping temperatures and white flakes. That brings me to Eugenia Kim’s whimsical cat ear-inspired and pom pom beanies. First-hand knowledge…they’re warm, comfy, adorable and no itchy forehead. (majorly important when wearing a wool hat) I recently purchased the double (mink)pom-pom beanie, and I haven’t taken it off my head. (reminds me of my childhood!) I love my hat and here’s why…Kim’s chunky knit wool beanies are fitted (cold air doesn’t get in), and they’re so easy to wear. Eugenia Kim, “launched her line in 1998 after a hat she had created to hide a bad haircut and caught the attention of several SoHo store owners”. Nothing better for a cold winter day than a warm chunky EK light grey or heather blue Felix Cat Ear Beanie or the Rain Knit Hat in pale pink or grey with the multi colored pom pom. I’d love to say good-bye to winter, but that’s not happening so fast especially with another blizzard on the way. No reason you can’t look trendy and cool in a blizzard.
