When you’re bored with a plain navy or black blazer what are your options? An embellished blazer is a great choice.
I’m wearing a whimsical blazer with fun patches without looking decked out. A few years ago, I wouldn’t have considered the embellished blazer look. I’ve had enough plain blazers with no pizazz. Of course, I’m not tossing my simple black blazers but I’m totally into a more exciting look.
I love the pairing of leggings or jeans for the daytime, lunching with friends, or for a super casual evening. For a more formal dinner, luncheon or meeting I’m all for wearing my embellished blazer with its coordinating pants. While in NYC recently, I wore both looks. I had a few meetings and wanted to be more matchy and dressed. I’m so glad the pant suit has returned! Even my husband who likes very simple clothes commented how much he liked the look. He usually says, “what are you wearing”?
