We recently viewed Haizhen Wang’s Fall/Winter 2013 runway show from London Fashion Week. We’re absolutely loving Haizhen’s refreshingly super modern designs and “futuristic” pieces. Many of the pieces are cut on the bias or severely belted to create extreme dimensions. We’re totally impressed with the illusions created by the diagonal layers and drastic lines. The look is reminiscent of or inspired by Alexander Wang and Junya Wantanabe’s bold graphic style.Without the headgear, tight ponytails and ghoulish makeup many of these pieces are incredibly fashionable and wearable. The parkas are super-cool and excitingly playful for late fall and winter. Our favorite piece is the fitted black blazer with the angular bottom and zipper. A must-have in our book! Haizhen’s pieces mixed with one’s own style create a truly fashion-forward desirable look for day or evening. A Few Goody Gumdrops wishes to thank Goodspeed & Valentine for sharing this spectacularly cutting edge collection with us!

Not loving the weird masks, but that coral blazer type jacket is pretty dang awesome. I would definitely wear it! I like the black puffer vest and the duster too…

I agree…the visors are a bit much but the clothes are amazing! If you look closely the makeup is striped….runway features. Loving the angular blazer with the zipper….hoping it makes it’s way into my closet!

Love the coral jacket with the zipper as well as the black jacket which also has a zipper. Absolutely in love with the angles. Love the belted look but not loving the over-the-top puffiness on some of the pieces. Interesting talent!
