Call me unadventurous, but I’ve always been the most comfortable in jeans and a tee – especially in the summer. So while I don’t often switch things up with flirty skirts or sundresses (unless it’s a special occasion), come summertime I always make a beeline to the shoe department to take advantage of the season’s new sandals to update my casual warm-weather wardrobe. This spring/summer season, I’m all about the metallic details – namely, metal cuffs. The ever-popular gladiator trend is going decidedly more glitzy in 2013 with high-shine hardware and notice-me metallic straps and cuffs. What I love most about this trend is that it’s way versatile – it lets you keep things totally casual (but with a more luxe look), but can also be dressed up if the occasion calls for it. It’s Grecian goddess meets modern-day city-girl warrior – and I dare you to resist the urge to stock up!
