Your wardrobe will definitely have a new look with the very edgy and completely funky over-sized rings from The KD2024 Jewelry Collection. The inspiration is drawn from animals, nature, shapes and textures. The designer uses natural bright stones such as tourmaline, amethyst, moonstone, onyx, red garnet and citrines. While this striking mix of biker chic, eccentricity and cool may not be for everyone, we felt it was intriguing and worth viewing.
I love wearing a great fitted blazer, skinny jeans, a white tee, fabulous boots and a gorgeous python bag with a statement piece of jewelry. KD2024’S rings would be that one over-the-top piece. For a real trendy look wear two rings on different fingers with Poppy Queen’s vampy black lip gloss. Obviously, the KD2024 Collection is designed by a very creative, fashion forward individual! Be sure to read what my guest blogger had to say! Betsy Brown
Do you believe in gypsy magic and the Dark Arts? Are you kind of afraid of yourself… but in a good way? Are you somewhat amused by how easily intimidated people are by your wild fashion sense? Do you often picture yourself as a character from a future dystopia war movie – a gun toting post-feminist biker chick type on a mission to save the world by facing down a sentient serpent, perhaps?
Were you, maybe in a past life, a cartoon character from a weird, but oddly arty Japanese Manga? If the answer is yes to any of these, then the KD2024 Jewelry Collection may be just what the witchy fashion doctor ordered! These pieces are highly artistic, blending silver, gold, stones, jewels, shapes, and vibes into something wholly undescribable. Each object is handmade and uniquely talismanic.
Consider, for instance, Psychedelic, a silver bedecked, richly carved dragon-like ring with purple gems. Or check out rings like the Legacy, a beautifully carved silver ring adorned with what looks like an onyx but what could quite possibly the dark eye of the Beast, Himself.
Look, this collection is starkly different from practically anything else out there that I’ve seen. Say what you will about these pieces — in my last post, I described a KD2024 bag as “creeptastic” and I meant it — but this is damn good marketing. KD2024 knows who its customers are. And they’ve built a meticulous aesthetic that is vivid, memorable, dark, twisted, throbbing with energy, and, as we keep coming back to, just a wee bit scary.
One last piece to look at – the “Core” collection: rings and a necklace (not shown) that’s at once tribal and post-apocalyptic – full of blacks and silvers and just a touch of gold. Asymmetric, well crafted, battle ready, sexy, and menacing.
Stretch your perspective, and enter the world of KD2024 to catch the vibe. It’s like seeing a haunting movie like Dark City – an experience that etches itself into your mind and lingers there for a while afterwards, giving you a bit of the creeps and perhaps some surprising insights into human nature itself.
