I recently wrote about these stylish and reasonably priced casual clutches that I found at a boutique in West Hollywood. The clutches were lined up on a table and immediately caught my eye. I had no idea of the price or the designer but knew I loved the style, the bold stripes, the shape and size of the bags.
The designer was Clare Vivier. I thought…must be related to renowned shoe and handbag designer Roger Vivier…wrong and no relation. Anyway, I was truly excited to find a bag that could actually hold my phone, makeup case and two pairs of glasses. After I transferred my items to the clutch to test this out I bought the bag. Having all your goodies fit in a bag that you really want is a real plus! When you think about it…Vivier’s bags are really simple but quite striking. Her bags are locally made in CA and boast that label in every bag.
The cowhide clutches with the trendy matte stripes look so chic paired with anything from jeans to dressy trousers. I live in jeans, leggings and flats so Vivier’s clutches are the perfect piece to complete my everyday attire. They’re so easy to carry and have a fresh look.
