I love Dolce & Gabbana’s latest whimsical bags but here’s the thing…they’re seasonal, very pricey and made of cork or raffia. Although Dolce & Gabbana’s bags are totally adorable, they’re well over three grand (closer to four) and the bags are totally summer. Sadly, many of us have passed on summer shopping and are already purchasing fall.
Money to burn on these charming bags? The bag or Lunch Box, as they’re called, are trendy enough and can be worn for years to come. Perfect tropical bags but are they really worth that kind of money from the super funky design duo? It’s all up to the buyer! The lemon motif bag is a work of art detailed with a lemon embroidery design, silvertone jewels and trimmed with yellow and black snakeskin.(lined in grey suede) The mini fur-pompom Lunch Box made of raffia and trimmed in saffiana leather is a tad quieter and very cool with its orange and yellow fur pompoms and green leather leaves. Both bags…eye-catching statement pieces with padlock closures.
If I had an extra stash of extra cash…I’d go for one of these bags as they are beyond cute and oh-so colorful! They’re surprisingly versatile and look great with The Jane flared jeans and a tee or a summer dress. The bags work easily for daytime or evening. Both bags have a convenient detachable shoulder strap and go easily from hand to shoulder. The choice is up to you!
