Are you looking for a pair of totally spacey and edgy wedges for this spring and summer? If you are we have the perfect fashion-forward pair from Rick Owens. Although we woudn’t wear them (ankle maybe too fat) we are digging his textured leather Rhino Wedges in dark bronze. Just joking…these are too bizarre for us.These are the summer version of the Owens Short Brancusi Wedges that we posted earlier this season.
We still think some designers (like Rick, Camilla and Jeffrey) tend to get too costumey rather than concentrating on designing something that is cool, creative and wearable. We love funky but these are so space-agey looking.We’d pair with a very fitted spacesuit with major shoulder pads.Looks great with bronze eye shadow, bronzer and metallic nail polish for a total bronzed look!
However, we do love the dark bronze metallic color and the open toe styling.These are definitely”notice me now I need attention” sandals and very pricey.The heel is approx a 1″ platform with a 4.5″ heel.
