Karl Lagerfeld’s latest white quilted Chanel bag just debuted at the Grand Palis during Paris Fashion Week! What’s your take on this over-sized piece affectionately labeled the Hula Hoop Bag? Seems a wee bit small to me. Just cause something is Chanel does that mean we “jump through hoops” to own it? Being the obsessed Chanel freaks that we are… I’m sure we can’t wait to get our names on the order list. I thought when I landed my Jumbo Classic bag I was carrying a suitcase. That’s tiny compared to the rounded tote the model is carrying.
We hear this may actually be Lagerfeld’s version of the Chanel beach bag. We heard right!!!!! “It’s for the beach” Lagerfeld explained before the show. “You need space for the beach towel, huh? Then you can put it into the sand and hang things on it.” This bag makes a great cover-up…will definitely hide the butt and thighs when walking on the beach!
Either way………It’s Chanel and I’m sure there will be a wait list a mile long for this bag! Price was never mentioned but I’m sure it’s hefty.
